By now, even though you never went to school there (I think your parents must have hidden your acceptance letter), most people will be super familiar with the dress code down at Hogwarts, everybody's favourite wizarding school.

As every prospective first-year student of Hogwarts is told, the supply list for clothing at the school includes: Three Sets of Plain Work Robes (Black), One Plain Pointed Hat (Black) for day wear, One Pair of Protective Gloves (dragon hide or similar), and One Winter Cloak (Black, silver fastenings).

Oh, and don't forget name tags for your clothing. So other students can recognise you and all that.

But one thing that eagle-eyed readers would have noticed is that there's no requirement for shoes when it comes to attending Hogwarts. But that doesn't mean the likes of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and Luna Lovegood all walked around barefoot, does it? Surely not.

But now, thanks to a popular brand of sneakers, when you're reading the books for the 110th time and trying to picture in your head what kind of footwear they're sporting, that might just become a whole lot easier.

The footwear brand Vans - known for creating the coolest line of sneakers out there, let's be honest - are teaming up with Harry Potter to create special Harry Potter-themed sneakers, and I for one can't wait.

While there's no pictures as yet of how the shoes will look, this is the real deal, folks; Vans posted an update on Twitter and Instagram teasing the new shoes, and on the Vans website, there's also an official website for the new kicks!

Guess what, folks: there will be four different shoes for you to feast your eyes on and hit the skate parks with, and - you guessed it - there'll be one pair for each house of Hogwarts.

That's Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw for you uninitiated muggles out there.

Wearing these shoes seems tailor-made for this lady, who remembers the entirety of the Harry Potter books, word for word:

Shockingly, just shockingly, people are going absolutely nuts for the new shoes, and on Twitter, Potter fans are expressing their massive joy for the new shoes.

Now, Potter fans, which pair of Vans will you be getting? Personally, I identify as a Hufflepuff (with a little bit of Ravenclaw thrown in for extra flavour), so those black and yellow Vans look mighty attractive to me. Though, as usual, a pair of Slytherins might look super cool too.

There's no official word yet on when exactly we can buy these unique Vans, but I hope it's soon!
