Prepare yourselves, because the Kardashian-Jenner empire is about to become a little bit bigger. That's right, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's surrogate is in labor.

During an appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday, Kris Jenner was surprised by the beloved talk show host when daughter Kourtney and six of her grandchildren made an unannounced appearance.

However, despite being brought to tears by the sight of so many of her grandkids, Kourtney stunned the 'momager' with another bombshell. After Ellen explained to Kris that Kim was supposed to appear on the show alongside her sister, Kourtney revealed to her mom that Kim and Kanye had to rush to the hospital after their surrogate went into labour.

Clearly in shock, Kris exclaims, "What are we doing sitting here? Come, on Ellen!"

This will be the power couple's fourth child, and it is expected to be a boy, the Daily Mail reports.

This will be the second child the 41-year-old rapper and 38-year-old reality star have had via a surrogate, although it is currently unknown if either of them will be in the delivery room for the birth - although Kim was present during the birth of their daughter Chicago in January 2018.

Kim did gave birth naturally to daughter North, five, and son Saint, three, but in an interview with Elle, she opened up about the how traumatizing childbirth was for her:

"After giving birth, your placenta is supposed to come out. But mine was stuck. That’s what women usually die from in childbirth—you hemorrhage and bleed to death and they can’t stop it. To get it out—it’s so disgusting—the doctor had to stick his whole arm in me and scrape it off. It was the most painful."

Back in January of this year, Kim confirmed that the couple was indeed expecting another child during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

During the interview with Andy Cohen, she confessed that she had let the cat out of the bag after having too much to drink at their star-studded Christmas Eve party:

"I got drunk at our Christmas Eve party and told some people. I can't remember who I told because I never get drunk."
