Kylie Jenner - the eye of the veritable media maelstrom that just won't seem to cease - is back in the tabloids after giving birth to her first daughter with Travis Scott, Stormi Webster.

While she is only two-months-old, the Kardashian-Jenner progeny is already more famous than we will ever be. And the people of the internet have found themselves obsessing over her perfectly manicured fingernails, and in turn being perturbed by the fact that she's set to be a millionaire before her first birthday.

However, one matter which apparently hasn't yet been wholly resolved is that of Stormi's paternity, alleged or otherwise. Kylie's ex-boyfriend Tyga, whom she dated for two years, has been demanding a DNA test, "because he really thinks that there is a chance this baby could be his," according to RadarOnline. And now, The Sun reports that 20-year-old has acquiesced to the rapper - who claimed that he was still sexually active with Kylie nine months ago.

Although Tyga recently took to Twitter to clear up speculation surrounding who Stormi's father is, a new report has suggested that Kylie had already taken a DNA test by this point.

"I’ve never said anything about someone else’s child or family insinuating my involvement; and will never do so," the hip hop artist wrote. "Please, stop spreading false stories and attacking people’s families. I have nothing to do with any of that. People should be able to live in peace."

The Sun, however, has refuted Tyga's assertion. A source told the publication that "Tyga has been demanding a paternity test throughout Kylie’s pregnancy but she wouldn’t hear of it. She still cares for Tyga but this isn’t something she ever wanted to agree to. Kylie begged him to back off because she didn’t need the embarrassment."

"After a lot of pressure from Tyga, she finally gave in, but under one condition, that Tyga would never talk about it again," the insider continued. "While Tyga agreed, after the test came back negative he tweeted a statement that revealed he isn't the father and has done nothing wrong. He can't take back what he did and this could have ruined his relationship with the Kardashian family for good."

Whether this "inside source" is reliable or not is certainly up for debate, however, it is evident that Kylie's pregnancy was far from smooth sailing. Tasked with masking that she was expecting from the watchful eyes of the paparazzi and the internet writ large, Kylie (rather ironically) took to Instagram to announce that she had given birth to her first child. "I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions," the beauty mogul wrote.

"Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it. I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could.  My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn’t wait to share this blessing. I’ve never felt love and happiness like this i could burst! Thank you for understanding."

Well, there you have it. While this paternity battle hasn't been conclusively resolved, judging by Tyga's recent stance on the matter, I think it's time that we just put it to rest.
