Kendrick Lamar says he was abducted by aliens when he was six-years-old

Situated deep in the depths of the Nevada desert lies Area 51 - a secret government base in America, where no one knows what goes on inside. Some people believe the base is used for nuclear weapon development, while others claim that it is used for testing on aliens which have visited the earth. Whatever the reason for Area 51, it remains a mystery to the present day and still fascinates alien conspiracy theorists.

When you think of an alien conspiracy theorist, the first image that comes to your mind is pretty negative: hiking boots, combat shorts, a grubby t-shirt layered with a flannel shirt. They're usually balding, with some sort of mullet going on and a pair of yellow or orange sunglasses. Most conspiracy theorists will tell you stories of abduction and their run-ins with extra-terrestrials. While they may seem an odd bunch, it turns out they've got a very famous face among their ranks: Kendrick Lamar.

Yep, you heard me right, the multi-Grammy award winning artist claims that aliens exist - and even more, he believes that he was visited by them when he was just six years old.

Lamar was appearing on SiriusXM during an exclusive interview with Howard Stern. The Grammy winner and radio host got onto the conversation of aliens and Lamar was asked if he had previous experience with extraterrestrials.

"I'm going to stand my ground to this: Yes. I did. Nobody believed me then and they don't believe me now."

"It's just something I can't really describe, because it just sounds like, 'Okay, you just saw a dart go past. That shit don't make sense.' I remember this and words can't describe it. It's just a surreal moment."

Howard, surprised at Lamar's confession, decided to ask the rapper if he was abducted by the visitors, to which Kendrick replied: "I probably did".

The 30-year-old from Compton, California, is largely regarded as the best rapper alive and even one of the best of all time. Kendrick, however, says that he might not be making his legendary music if it wasn't for the visit by the aliens, who he says "probably gave me energy."

"That's probably why I'm doing music right now."

"Who knows. They probably gave me the energy... You know?"

Lamar was recently nominated for seven Grammys after an exception 2017, in which he bought out his album DAMN, to much critical acclaim.

Kendrick's revelation regarding aliens comes after NASA scheduled a major press conference to be held on Thursday regarding a new discovery found by the Kepler space telescope; a machine used to find other Earth-like planets in our solar system.

Who knows, maybe Kendrick was telling the truth and he has had contact with another life form. Maybe, the press conference on Thursday will see NASA announce to the existence of aliens and Kendrick will welcome his old friends back to our planet them with a show-stopping performance. We can dream, right?
