It's fair to say that one person was the talk of this year's Grammys: Lady Gaga. On Sunday night the prestigious awards show was attended by a huge number of famous people, including Michelle Obama, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez and Jada Pinkett-Smith. However, she arguably managed to make the biggest impression of the lot, especially after scooping up the first award of the night: the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Bradley Cooper for their song Shallow, which was featured in the soundtrack for the movie A Star Is Born. She then went on to pick up a further two awards later on; Best Song Written for Visual Media, and Best Pop Solo Performance. Pretty impressive, right?

However, Gaga also managed to attract extra attention via her dancing, which eagle-eyed fans noticed and filmed. Yes, during Janelle Monae's performance of Make Me Feel, Gaga could be seen dancing enthusiastically by herself. She appeared to know every lyric to Janelle's hit track, and the video of her enjoying herself was quickly shared by a fan on Twitter.

Lady Gaga took to Twitter soon after winning her Grammy, thanking fans for their support. She wrote: "I’m not gonna be able to wear any makeup tonight. We just won our first of Grammy nominations for the night. I’m in tears with honour and gratitude. Thank you @RecordingAcad #Grammy and my co-writers and Bradley I love you so much thank you. [sic]"

She later added: "A Grammy for Joanne is more than me & my family could ever dream of. I sang that version in one take, & poured my entire life & soul into it. Thank you so much for this gift I am completely shocked. 2nd Grammy win of the night I am so overwhelmed by this kindness. [sic]"

In her acceptance speech, Gaga was candid about how the movie's exploration of mental health issues was personally important to her. She stated: "If I don't get another chance to say this. I just want to say I'm so proud to be part of a movie that addresses mental health issues, they're so important. And a lot of artists, a lot of artists deal with that. And we got to take care of each other. So, if you see somebody that is hurting, don't look away. And if you are hurting, even though it might be hard, try to find that bravery within yourself to dive deep and go tell somebody and take them up in your head with you."

It's good to see her getting the recognition she deserves for her recent movie role. Now that she's bagged herself three more trophies, she'll have a lot more to dance about in future.
