Fans have been left speechless after seeing acting legend Ernie Hudson appear on the red carpet for the upcoming Ghostbusters film.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, which was released in major movie theatres last week, follows the story of a group of individuals who come together to defeat the forces of evil after an ancient artifact releases bad spirits that threaten to send the world into a second ice age.
Directed by Gil Kenan, the movie promises to be just as iconic as the original, which came out back in 1984.
And judging by the cast lineup, it might just be.
Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Kumail Nanjiani, and Ernie Hudson have joined forces to bring back the Ghostbusters for one more ride together.
Little did we know that the movie would become the talk of the town for a whole different reason - and it's all thanks to Hudson.
The star has recently gone viral on social media after photos from the March 21 red carpet event for the movie went viral, and not just because they were happy to see him reprise his role as Dr. Winston Zeddemore.
Wearing a simple black T-shirt and a pair of blue jeans, the actor stepped out looking as dapper as ever, which got a lot of people wondering how old he must be considering he was in the 1984 version of the iconic franchise.
On Tuesday, a user on X posted a picture of Hudson with a caption that got right to the heart of the matter: "Seventy f****** Eight??"
Others also chimed into the conversation, expressing their shock at how good the veteran entertainer looks.
"Ernie Hudson needs to be studied," wrote another user comparing a picture from 1980 to now.
"Dawg Ernie Hudson is 78 years old. SEVENTY EIGHT. I pray I look this good in forty years man," added another.
A third even suggested he must be a vampire stating: "Ernie Hudson and Angela Bassett are part of the same vampire coven!"
Others also recalled their experiences with the star now that he was a trending topic with this X user writing: "Lotta Ernie Hudson talk and I wanna say that I brought him a bottle of water at a show I was working and he crumpled up a $20 into my hand, the way your grandparents would, and said 'Thanks man, I was dying out here.'
"Extremely kind and warm man. Always gonna remember that," they added.
Hudson wasn't the only one to be praised for his dashing good looks at the premiere.
His co-star Paul Rudd also managed to earn himself a similar "vampire" accolade after photos of him standing with Hudson went viral on X too.
"You need proof that either A) time travel exist B) time isn't real C) immortals live among us or D) being non problematic has its benefits: Ernie Hudson is 78 and Paul Rudd is 54," wrote this user.
"The collective age of Ernie Hudson and Paul Rudd is 132 years old," another perplexed social media user stated.
I mean if these two don't drop their skincare routines right now, I'm going to lose my mind.
