Seven-month-old baby has gained 70,000 Instagram followers thanks to her incredible mane of hair

If you've ever spent any time with a newborn, or perused your own baby photos, you will have noticed that babies, though adorable, are weird looking. Whether this is because they could easily be an extra in Aliens, or because they bear an uncanny resemblance to your bald, 50-year-old father, one thing is for sure: it's hard to find a photogenic newborn.

Well, that is disregarding Baby Chanco, a seven-month-old who has amassed over 73,000 on account of her stunning bouffant. Chanco, who lives in Japan, was born with a full head of hair back in December of 2017, and it has shown no sign of slowing down.

Baby Chanco's mother runs her Instagram account, which is referred to as a "hair diary", and nearly every post receives at least 10,000 likes.

Thanks to her luscious locks, Chanco's mother is able to adorn her daughter's hair with a myriad of accessories, including bows, clips and ribbons.

I mean, just take a look at how adorable she is...

Naturally, the people of the internet loved Baby Chanco's mane. "She is so cute! Congratulations from Brazil," one Instagram user wrote, while another corroborated "It's so thick and beautiful."

A third individual added, "What a miracle."

According to paediatrician, Dr. Bud Zukow, whether a baby will be born with hair is influenced by both their genetics and ethnicity. However, the hair a baby has as an infant often bears little to no resemblance to what it will look like as they grow older. Certainly, while some babies emerge from the womb with a thick head of hair, they might also lose it in a matter of weeks. In the case of Baby Chanco, however, I think we can say that her hair is going nowhere...

I mean, have you ever seen such hair on an infant?

Well, I don't know about you, but it seems that someone needs to start making hair styling products for babies, stat.
