A powerlifter who is as wide as an industrial fridge has announced his MMA debut.

The self-proclaimed "Iranian Hulk", who is also sometimes referred to as the "Persian Hercules" (although he could easily eat Disney's version), stands at 6'2" tall and tips the scales at a staggering 385 pounds.

In short, Sajad Gharibi, 27, is an absolute beast of a man.

He's featured in the video below measuring his enormous muscles:

For obvious reasons, Gharibi is a social media sensation and has amassed almost half a million followers on Instagram.

Now, while the Iranian Hulk's size is undeniable, it's anyone's guess whether or not he will be good at fighting.

I'm no expert, but I reckon he could crush Conor McGregor to death just by sitting on him.

Gharibi revealed on his Instagram that he will be entering the cage for the first time next year, writing: "So I'm finally accepting my first professional fight from a Brazilian fighter before 2020."

Sadly, the identity of this Brazilian fighter is unknown.

MMA star Brian Ortega has thrown his two cents in on how he thinks the Iranian Hulk will fare in a fight, saying that he could easily beat him, despite being 5'8" and weighing 250 less than the 27-year-old.

In an interview with TMZ, he said: "I would just gas him out, piss him off. Of course, you're gonna see me just get mauled up like a damn little chihuahua in the beginning. But just when I ride that wave out, it's a done deal man. He'll gas out and he'll be mine."

Fair enough, but better you than me Ortega.

However, needless to say, the Iranian Hulk's attracted more than just the attention of the MMA, and LadBible reports that it was also rumored that he could be joining WWE.

Responding to the rumor on social media, Gharibi wrote: "There has been a lot of talk and rumors about wwe [sic] and in particular my participation to join the company but all I have to say is at this time if there will be any collaboration between myself and 'Triple H' then I'll let you guys knows about it afterwards and hopefully I'll decide and make my final decision by the end of autumn!"

Well, on that note. Professional fighters of the world, watch out. A human tank could be coming to a ring near you.
