Yet the event on as planned. Triple H teamed up with his old Degeneration X partner, The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels to take on the Brothers of Destruction, Kane and The Undertaker.

During the match, 14-time world champion Triple H suffered an extremely painful injury, tearing his pectoral muscle. Before he prepares to undergo surgery, he shared a gruesome photo of the damage on Twitter. The graphic image shows a huge, dark red bruise covering nearly half of his chest. He managed to finish the match, hitting Kane with a pedigree and pinning The Big Red Machine. But I'm guessing when the adrenaline of match, wore off, the pain caught up to him. "Surgery in the AM... ...makes you stronger," 'The King of Kings' tweeted.
