A dramatic video shared online captures the moment UFC star Sean Strickland held a suspected carjacker at gunpoint in front of his home.

Now, we all know that UFC fighters are some of the physically toughest people on the planet - putting themselves through years of grueling training to face off with their opponents in the octagon.

So when the 32-year-old MMA star - who is currently the UFC middleweight champion - saw a strange person roaming his driveway, he didn’t hesitate to confront the individual.

In shocking home security footage shared on his Instagram page, Strickland penned in the caption: "Checked my ring last night and thought he was stealing my car or trying to break in... What would you of done???"

Watch the footage below:

The video begins with an unknown man stumbling onto Strickland’s driveway in between two vehicles. It then pans to the fighter walking out of his front door and holding the man at gunpoint in his driveway.

Another unidentified person in a red shirt appears in the next frame while siren lights flash. The man who stumbled onto Strickland’s driveway is then seen walking on the street, but Strickland walks up to him and pushes him to the ground.

He then points the gun at the man again, telling him to "sit the f**k down."

It’s unclear what the circumstances of the situation were, but according to a follow-up post by Strickland, he thought the man was trying to steal his car but apparently that wasn't the case.

The UFC explained that the man had allegedly assaulted a woman and got in his vehicle to flee but damaged his car so much that he had to escape and attempted to hide at Strickland’s house.

"The guy was drunk stomping out a girl, a security guard seen it, he jumped in his car and drove off," he claimed. "Security followed him, hit a curb, completely shredded his tire, drove on the rim for a while then jumped out and tried to hide at my house."

"I initially thought he was stealing my car…He was arrested," he added.

As Strickland once made headlines for chasing a man with a flamethrower, people in the comment section poked fun at the fact the guy accidentally chose the "wrong house" to hide.

"There's roughly 260,000 houses in the Vegas area. Bro choose this one," one user wrote, while another said: "Dude picked one of the worst houses in the world to be a drunken fool at."

A third chimed in: "Of all [houses] in the street he [chose] the one, who chooses violence daily," and a fourth added: "Lmfao imagine thinking to hide somewhere and finding out armed Sean surfaces."

Note to self: Don't hide out at a UFC fighter's residence.
