Well, would you look at that? It feels like only yesterday that we were tucking into Christmas dinner and ringing in the New Year; now, you're telling me that summer's just around the corner? Wow. I've got to catch up if I'm going to get that summer bod up to speed. Ah, screw it; at this point, I might just hang around at my garden, and get the grill ready for three months of barbecues.

Yep, summer's great for a lot of things, but chief among them is the promise of hanging out with all your friends in the sun, soaking up the rays, as well as a ton of alcohol. I can't wait, you guys. But as you're with all of your friends by the fire, cooking up some delicious meat and swigging a beer, do you ever wonder if things could be more... efficient?

I love drinking and eating hot dogs, but the only thing is that in order to take a sip of alcohol, I've got to stop shovelling sausage into my mouth. Such a tragic waste of time, right? Well, folks, if you've ever thought that (and it's pretty likely you have), then Aldi have the perfect solution.

If you're a fan of getting drunk while you eat and haven't got the sweet tooth for a rum cake, then I've got the perfect food for you. Aldi have seen fit to bless us this summer with alcohol-infused sausages (which they refer to as "Boozy Bangers"), so you can get a buzz going at your BBQ without all that effort of chugging a beer.

Even better, should you desire, there are two different flavours of boozy bangers for you to enjoy at a BBQ some time soon. First, you've got the Thatcher’s Traditional Cider and Bramley Apple flavour - but if that's not enough, there's also Golden Ale and Cheese, for a richer, more succulent taste.

Both of these boozy sausages have an ABV of around 3.5 percent, so until they come out with vodka sausages or a hot dog that tastes like a freshly-mixed Sex on the Beach, going to the club with nothing but sausage meat in your belly is still considered to be a terrible idea.
