An unnamed delivery driver has been filmed sipping a milkshake before handing it to a 14-year-old customer.

The cookies-and-cream milkshake had been ordered by the child's father, who, for reasons unknown, decided to check the security camera outside of their home later that day. When he did, he was disgusted by what he saw.

This is the moment the driver brazenly drank the shake before handing it to the boy:

Recalling the moment he saw the footage to Fox 40, the boy's father, Rajesh said: "I looked at it, (and thought) 'Hey, the guy who delivered the food was sipping out of my son's Cold Stone.'"

"That's crazy, I mean, how can someone jeopardize the product like that, especially the food."

While 14-year-old Rishab enjoyed the milkshake at the time, when his father showed him the clip, he was disgusted.

"My dad told me to check out the video from last night and once I checked it out I brushed [my teeth] five, six times. I felt really disgusted," he said.

The milkshake had been purchased through DoorDash, but Rishab, a regular customer, said that he is going to think twice about purchasing from the company again.

"We have trust between the company and drivers. Once that trust is broken, we can't go back," he said.

Needless to say, because the incident could have happened to anyone, social media users had a lot to say about it:

Rajesh reported the incident to DoorDash after viewing the footage, however, he has yet to receive a reply from the company that describes itself as delivering "delicious at your door".
