Halloween is slowly creeping up on us, and if you're anything like me, you still have no idea what you're going to go as. I mean, there are only so many times you can repurpose your dirty bedsheets, and really, we don't need any more Wednesday Addams' running amok on the spookiest night of the year.

Sure, that leaves you with everything from the Loch Ness Monster to Bigfoot, but they're not exactly what I'd call imaginative - but do you know what is? Glitter pumpkin butts.

Yes, you heard that right. In the latest instance of Instagram taking things too far, women have been decorating their derrières to resemble glittery pumpkins, and it's kind of genius.

Earlier this month, UK based glitter brand, Go Go Glitter, took to Instagram to post a photo of a glitter pumpkin butt. "TWERK OR TREAT. Tag a friend who has a pumpkin perfect bum!" they captioned the snap.

"The glitter bum trend we started is so popular, we wanted to find a way to tie it in with the Halloween content we have been creating," makeup artist and co-founder of Go Go Glitter, Sophia Levy, told Marie Claire.

"Our peach bum was, and still is, one of our most popular looks, so we wanted to recreate it with a Halloween twist!"

If you're sold, Levy says that in order to create the pumpkin, they used "black and orange paint to draw out the shape, and then filled it in using our Glitter Fix and chunky glitter."

I mean, just take a look at them...

If pumpkins aren't your thing, you could always opt for the simple, but tried-and-true glitter butt. I mean, it's also pretty terrifying when you think about it.
