Beauty blogger receives vile abuse after botched boob job left her with square breasts
Given the number of people who are now frequently undergoing cosmetic surgery and procedures, it seems like a miracle that we don't hear of that many botched jobs. With the rise in cosmetic surgery through people like the Human Ken Doll and the woman who wanted to look like Jessica Rabbit, you would think that there would be an increase in things going wrong.
However, with developments in technology and the ways in which we are able to perform these procedures, many surgeons would argue that plastic surgery is now safer than ever.
But this isn't the case for everyone.
A Russian beauty blogger has revealed the distress she has had to ordeal after a botched boob job left her with square-shaped breasts.
Yulia Debbagkh, a blogger from Moscow, Russia, has been on the receiving end of cruel abuse and taunts online from trolls who find it funny to laugh at her unusually shaped breasts. The comments range from simply mocking the shape and asking if she will be getting 'triangle-shaped next,' through to personally insulting Debbagkh for having surgery in the first place.
The blogger, who is reported to be in her early thirties, underwent the procedure thirteen years ago at Moscow's Institute of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology. However, despite it being a recognised practice, the surgery was botched when the implants were placed over the muscle tissue rather than under it. As a result, one of the implants has slipped, giving Yulia's bust a 'square' shape.
Yulia took to social media to share her story, with her discussing the battle she's had trying to accept her bust.
"Whose bust is this? Look further… mine. My silicone one, that served me for 13 years.
The implant is not torn, it is simply rumpled. Of course it is impossible to smooth it. New full scale replacement surgery is needed."
Unfortunately for Yulia, as a result of going public with her problems, she opened herself up to cruel insults, with one person calling her a "silly woman with a square shape" and another claiming "No Man would marry plastic boobs."
Yulia is hoping to claim one million roubles ($17,300) in compensation from the clinic, which would cover the price of her corrective surgery.
A Russian TV channel filmed Yulia as she got examined by a surgeon who would be willing to give her the surgery that she requires. Speaking to the NTV crew, Nesterenko said:
"This time we will do it the proper way, We will remove the old implants, put new ones under the muscle."
"And these new implants will be modern ones. These days manufacturers give a lifelong guarantee."
The surgery where Yulia underwent the botched job has told her that she needs to take her place in the queue and be prepared to spend money on the restorative operation.
Hopefully, Yulia will be able to succeed in her compensation claim and will get the procedure that she needs. Her story should serve as a warning for those thinking about going under the knife: make sure you do your research first.
