Instagram model reveals the simple steps to building a toned butt

Have does one get the perfect booty? This is a question that millions of us have asked over the years - but hardly any of us have managed to pin down the answer.

Fear no more though! Tammy Hembrow is here to help by sharing her top tips. The Instagram model, who boasts more than nine million followers recently spoke to Women's Fitness, revealing all about how to achieve that perfectly toned derrière you've always wanted...

Focus on squats and æ with weights

"If you're starting from scratch I would recommend using your own body weight or small weights and then gradually increasing the weights you use," stated Tammy.

Slow and steady wins the race

Building the perfect backside takes time and it isn't going to all happen at once. So, keep yourself grounded by following Tammy's number one workout philosophy: Slow and steady wins the race.  "Building a booty is a slow process that requires time, effort, control and persistence," she said.

Less is more

While you may initially be tempted to rush to the gym and spend hours at a time there, the mother-of-two insists that lengthy workouts aren't always necessary, claiming exercising five times a week for just 30 minutes is enough to deliver results. "I know it seems impossible sometimes, especially after a long day but all you need is a 30-minute workout five days a week to make the difference," she told Women's Fitness.

Plan your week

So, how do you fit your workouts around your everyday life? The 24-year-old model's best advice is to plan out your next seven days, saying: "Plan your week, with kids and work, things won't always go to plan but it can help as a guide when trying to fit your workouts in. I find that some sort of routine can be really helpful."

Focus on weights and eat lots

In May 2017, Tammy demonstrated her 'booty gains' by sharing before and after photos. In her interview, she put her transformation down to increasing her weight exercises, cutting back on cardio and eating more than she used to.
