This model has managed to keep her six-pack even during pregnancy
Lets be honest here, most of us dream of having a six pack, don't we? However, while we all love the idea of having a toned tummy, actually getting one, and then maintaining it, is a whole different ball game. You've got to train your core consistently, eat well and just generally look after yourself. It's hard enough for the average Joe to carve out some muscles from their torso, so by that logic, it should basically be impossible for a pregnant women, right?
This is Sarah Stage, a mother-of-one who is currently 31 weeks pregnant, and has better abs than most of us could ever imagine owning. Stage is an Instagram fitness model, who has a following of over two million people on the social media platform, she regularly posts videos and photos on her account showing off her toned pregnancy body and the workouts that she undertakes while expecting.
Unsurprisingly, people are blown away by Sarah's baby bod, which she works tirelessly to maintain as you can see in the video below. Sarah claims that she has achieved her incredible look through her commitment to core exercises such as crunches, planks and plenty more.
Obviously, plenty of Stage's followers have been quick to gush the praise on the mother, with one saying: "You're killing pregnancy!! You and your baby are healthier than most pregnant women."
"2/3 of the way there! Congratulations!! Ur so beautiful and your body is obviously very well taken care of," said another.
Sadly, Instagram being Instagram, some people do not believe that Sarah looks healthy for a pregnant woman, with one woman saying: "I think this is a bit sad.. you look terrible! Further you are contributing to a poor body image for a number of pregnant woman who do not have the time to work out like an idiot as they have a real job."
Astonishingly, this isn't the first time Sarah has maintain her ripped figure throughout pregnancy. In 2015, Stage went through her first pregnancy with a similarly toned physique and became a viral sensation because of it. Similarly to this time round, however, Sarah received plenty of hate and insults from other women saying that her fitness regime wasn't healthy for a pregnant woman, but it doesn't seem to have bothered her at all.
Having already given birth to one little boy, Stage maintains that her doctor has approved of her active lifestyle, but did issue a warning to other mothers who wanted to follow in her footsteps.
"Baby is perfectly fine in my tummy nice and safe while I work out," she wrote in a recent caption. "My doctor has given me the OK to continue exercising while pregnant but if you're expecting please check with your dr. first since everyone is different."
Fair play Sarah, it's pretty incredible to be in that shape at anytime, let alone when you're over 30 weeks pregnant. Hopefully she gives birth to a healthy, happy child and puts a sock in the mouths of those who chose to hate on her for no reason.
