Many of us would have had protective parents when we were growing up - or have become them as we got older. It's not uncommon for mothers and fathers to be extra careful with who their sons and daughters associate with - especially when it comes to dating.

Plenty of 16-year-old boys have sat through awkward dinners with their girlfriend's family, trying their best to look as presentable and act as polite as they possibly can to give a good impression. However, not all parents have the same attitude.

In fact, this mother actively encouraged her daughter to date older men when she was in her teens, and in recent years they took things a step further.

Georgina Clarke, 41, and her daughter Kayla Morris, 23, have made headlines previously for their unconventional lifestyle choices. For one, they have spent over £60,000 ($78,500) on cosmetic surgeries over the years. They've admitted to having cheek fillers, Botox injections, teeth whitening, boob jobs and lip injections, to name just a few.

Kayla, who uses sunbeds five times a week (a habit that alone costs them around $6500 a year), has said she wanted to look just like Katie Price from the age of 11. After spending tens of thousands on plastic surgery, she's definitely made some steps towards this goal - but it's the method through which she hopes to fund these changes that has caused a furore.

The 23-year-old spoke about how she eventually took on a sugar daddy in his 50s - when she was still just a teen. Georgina, who claimed she wasn't aware of this at the time, previously said in an interview with MailOnline:

"When Kayla told me that she wanted a boob job and plastic surgery, I was glad because I wanted her to be that kind of person.

"I’m lucky to have a daughter like Kayla who pays for my treatments. I don’t mind her having a sugar daddy or stripping to pay for our cosmetic work because we’re living the dream. I'm really proud of her."

Both women appeared on ITV’s The Kyle Files last week, wherein they both spoke about their surgeries, lifestyle choices, and what they're hoping to do in the future.

Revealing her first surgery was done around six years ago, Kayla said:

"I just remember really wanting it done. It’s a lot of pressure on being a young girl nowadays, the whole Kim Kardashian thing, Instagram thing, selfie thing. And if you aren’t secure and happy in yourself, and you have the money then you will go and do them."

As a teen, she felt the pressure to look a certain way, and was even the one to lead her mother down the path of plastic surgery, but she has since changed her outlook. Now, Kayla is looking back on the surgeries she's had done with some regret, and is now hoping to return to more of a natural look.
