Every couple has had that one infamous fight in public that they're still embarrassed about to this day. And it turns out celebrity couples are no exception.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend got into their "biggest fight ever" at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding back in May 2014. But despite mentioning it in passing, they're never revealed what the massive blowout was about... until now.

Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the pair were asked to cast their minds back to that night and spoke candidly about their spat, with Chrissy stating she still feels like apologising every time she sees Kim and Kanye.

When Cohen enquired, John and Chrissy admitted they couldn't remember the ins and outs of the fight, but knew it was bad.

"I don’t even remember what it was about," said the All of Me singer.

His model wife confirmed this was the case, saying: "We try to think about this all the time. It was a major blowout to the point that where like, every time I see them, I feel like apologizing for it."

When her husband replied insisting that the A-lister pair had no idea, Chrissy quipped: "Oh, everyone knew! Yes yes!"

Musing about the incident for a moment, she continued to open up, saying: "I think I felt—I think I was really intimated. I just, I didn’t—I think it came from a lot of insecurity and I just took it out on John.

"It was a lot of fabulous, amazing people in one room and you just—I think that’s where it stemmed from, but I was just very insecure and very, I don’t know, I think that’s where it stemmed from and it just, you know how things snowball, into like a bigger thing and also, [I was] drinking, which doesn’t help."

Luckily for all of us, the two got over their squabble and have been going strong for over ten years now.

They first met on the set of John's music video for Stereo, in which a 20-year-old Chrissy starred as his love interest. That night, they went back to John's hotel room after the shoot, ate In-N-Out burgers, and "hooked up."

"We did the music video, we were together for like 12 hours," Teigen told Wendy Williams in 2014. "We spent the entire day together, me in my underwear and him in a full suit, and I went to go say goodbye to him, to his hotel and we didn't ever say goodbye that night."

After keeping in touch over text in the months following, the singer realised they had a "connection" when they spent more time together between tour stops.

"I wasn't nervous about it," John claimed. "When you feel a real connection to somebody, for me it wasn't nerves, it was more like excitement. 'Oh, this could be great.'"

They got married in 2013 in a quiet courthouse ceremony, before saying their vows again in a lavish Italian ceremony a few days later. In 2016, the model gave birth to the couple's first child, Luna, before welcoming her brother Miles in 2018.
