While some nights are for partying and others for having a chilled one with your nearest and dearest, there's one kind of night which is wholly dedicated to finding someone to go home with. We've all witnessed a guy at a club who is so clearly on the prowl that he doesn't give politeness or common decency a second thought. The man in question spends his entire evening ignoring his friends, trying to get girls to dance with him so he can impress them with his questionable come-ons.

Though you can spot someone like this a mile off, one guy decided that he couldn't be bothered to do all the work, and attempted to expedite the process by sending a group WhatsApp message to 52 girls to see what they were up to.

Last week, Dom Flanagan decided that talking to and attempting to score a girl was too much effort, so he added all 52 women from his phonebook into a WhatsApp group called "Dom's Angels" to see if they'd fancy a night on the town. Unsurprisingly, he got some less than impressed responses.

Rugby player, Dom, opened the chat by writing "Hia girls you alright, it’s Dom I just couldn’t be arsed texting you all individually, what you all doing tonight?"

Speaking about his misguided advance, Dom said: "I was in the process of messaging about five plus girls asking them what they were doing on the night and just thought 'this would be easier if I did it all at once.'"

"I was p***ed, so added every single girl, ex girlfriends included, to the chat. None of them were keen to respond, and I was called a disgusting pig by one girl."

The first message was sent to the girls around 9:20 pm on Saturday night, and Dom reckons that by then he was five hours into drinking with his friends, and possibly 10 pints down.
His stunt wasn't exactly successful. In between all the expletives that were thrown his way, one woman wrote "Ergh" while another corroborated that it was "Disappointing". The majority of women, however, simply chose to "leave" the WhatsApp group.

While Dom's approach was a resounding failure, it did garner him some online attention. At the time of writing, his initial tweet - which was captioned, "Started a group WhatsApp with every bird in my contacts last night what a f***ing melt I am" - has garnered over 1.7K retweets and 6,800 likes.

Luckily, it seems that Dom has learned the error of his ways. When asked if he'd ever attempt the same thing again, Dom stated "No. As I’m sure most of the girls in the chat have boyfriends so wouldn’t want to push my luck."

Well, there you have it, folks. That's romance in the modern age for you.

In other news, 12 people have revealed how jealousy destroyed their relationship.
