"Where do you want to eat?"

If you're of a certain age in a certain living situation, that simple question of six words is enough to send shivers down your spine. Ladies and gentlemen, being in a loving, fulfilling relationship with another person is great - you should try it some time - but it comes with pitfalls you'd never expect going into it.

Yeah, there's plenty of dinners, date nights, late night cuddles and more to look forward to, but stay in a relationship long enough and there'll come a time where you're sitting with your beloved, both of you hungry with nothing in the fridge or pantry, but neither of you settled on where to get food from that night.

Dread it. Run from it. Destiny still arrives, and when you're sitting on that sofa, halfheartedly offering takeaway suggestions because you know they will be rejected out of hand, you'll thank your lucky stars you have the "Wheel of Food" to help make the process a little bit easier.

Don't know what I'm talking about? Then listen up: I'm about to change your life for the better.

Jerry Baker was talking with his 20-year-old son, Jared, about how hard it is for the two generations of Baker to pick out a place to take a date. They probably laughed about it for a while, but before long, Jerry had a brainwave, and you and I can both thank our lucky stars he decided to write it down, and bring the idea into fruition.

Say hello to the Wheel of Food - think Wheel of Fortune, but y'know... with food.

Using a kid's See n' Say to new and profound effect, Jerry replaced all of the phrases with his girlfriend's favourite restaurants, and now whenever they want to eat out, all they have to do is spin the arrow, and voila! They have a placed picked out for them to go eat.

"I figured someone would get a kick out of it," Jared said to BuzzFeed at the time, explaining why he then uploaded a picture of his dad's Wheel of Food to Twitter - where it proceeded to go just a little viral.

Since the tweet surfaced nearly two years ago, it's got likes and retweets galore - with 11,000 people clicking the little heart-shaped icon, and a further 5,000 sharing the post with their own followers. People also saw fit to pay tribute to the genius idea, adding that pretty soon, they might try making their own for their relationship.
