While you'd think that "toasted coconut" would refer to some sort of overly sweet beverage, it's just the latest hair trend to sweep Instagram.
With autumn now upon us, the stylists and influencers of social media are loving a new "bronde" hair colour trend, which sees a deep brunette hue fade to bright blonde for a style that's both super vibrant and high-contrast.
And it's absolutely gorgeous. I mean, just take a gander at some of these looks...
So, who are the most suitable candidates for this style?
Speaking to Allure, Baltimore-based colourist, Ami Rextroth, said that those who are already brunette should most definitely take note. Since their roots will already be dark enough, Rextroth explained that the "toasted coconut" style is a low-maintenance way to add richness and dimension.
And they won't even have to worry about touching up their roots, as the style will just become toastier as their hair grows. Sounds like a win-win to me!
