Woman '1000% certain' she's been pregnant for nearly four years

Pregnancy is the most natural thing in the world and its length is well-documented. The typical gestation period for a baby is nine months, give or take a few weeks. While the longest pregnancy ever recorded lasted a year, this was an incredible anomaly, and anything more than this is considered impossible. One woman, however, believes that she is an exception to this biological rule, and despite the fact that her tubes have been tied, is convinced she's been pregnant for a whopping 3 years and 7 months.

Appearing on Dr. Phil to share her extraordinary story (or lack thereof), Zona said that even though she has not had a single positive pregnancy test and numerous ultrasounds have confirmed that her womb's empty, she's "1000% certain" she's pregnant.

Zona revealed on the show that when she reportedly fell pregnant at the age of 40, she was horrified because she had had her tubes tied 20 years ago. So, when she first visited her doctor, she was relieved when he told her that she wasn't expecting.

But after some time past and her stomach seemingly continued to grow, she felt her "baby" kick and reached the conclusion that she was carrying six babies (sextuplets) - adding that she could hear each of their individual heartbeats.

To discover more about why Zona believes the professionals are wrong, check out the video below:

"I was extremely shocked, I am still in shock," Zona said of her pregnancy claim. "My belly has continued to grow for the three and a half years, but it does grow at super low rates. My breasts are tender, my mood swings are super bad, I can be crying one minute, happy the next."

"When I go to a doctor I take a pregnancy test, of course, it does not show up either on blood or urine," the apparent mom-to-be said. "They have also given me ultrasounds, they tell me all are negative."

"The doctors are wrong, I don't care what medical degree they have I am 1000% certain that I am pregnant," Zona defiantly continued.

"The movement in my stomach is what I am saying is real, know 1,000% I am giving birth to multiples - I think I'm carrying six babies," she said.

However, despite her belief that she is heavily pregnant, Zona continues to smoke regularly.

Already a mother, Zona's existing children are frustrated by her belief that she is pregnant and her daughter described her as nothing more than an "attention seeker".

"My family does not believe I am pregnant, it has torn my family apart," Zona said. "This is the hardest thing I have ever experienced in my life, it's real and it's misery."

"I am sick and tired of being pregnant, I just want them out, I am done with this - I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done with pregnancy," she continued. "I don't want it anymore."

Zona's belief that she is pregnant came the closest it ever got to confirmation when an ultrasound technician reportedly saw a baby's hair in her womb, but on a second examination, nothing could be seen.

Dr. Phil being Dr. Phil he sent Zona to one of America's top obstetrician-gynecologists (OB-GYN) for a thorough examination in a bit to settle the matter once and for all.

Can you guess what he discovered?

No babies and no heartbeats were found Zona's womb.

Even though the OB-GYN in question has delivered more than 8,000 babies, Zona once again did not believe him and said that he had not examined her thoroughly enough.

Oh well. Good luck with the delivery, I guess, Zona...
