There are plenty of things we associate with everyone's favourite holiday of the year. Presents, inordinate amounts of food and cheesy Christmas hits are all part and parcel of the festive season.
And of course, there's also the Christmas tree - a vital addition to your living room during the holiday season.
But if you're the sort of person who likes to go all out for the festive season, why not invest in one of these 7-foot rainbow trees for $239.99 (with free shipping).
According to the tree's official description, it measures at 7 feet tall (including the stand) and 46 inches wide, features 100% rainbow-coloured PVC needle, is made up of 1,213 branch tips and includes a premium white tree stand. It is also covered by a give-Year foliage warranty.
And if the reviews are anything to go by, people absolutely adore the unconventional Christmas tree.
“I am soooooo in love with this tree!” one customer wrote. “It’s so shiny-looking in person! It comes in three sections. It’s so easy to put together.”
"LOVE this tree!!" wrote another. "My favorite that I've ever owned! Everyone was skeptical, until they actually saw it, and that was BEFORE we even decorated it!! No regrets in having my husband buy us this right before Christmas! Package said it'd arrive between Dec 5-16, so I was worried we wouldn't be able to enjoy it as long. Actually arrived Dec 5! Was super easy to put together, my 7 and 9 yo daughters helped me assemble."
"The colors were spot on and exactly what I was looking for," added a third. "However, when I took it out of the box, a few "branches" fell off the tree so that was pretty disappointing. As I was fanning out the branches, the tree shed a ton of the tinsel off the branches. I think given the cost of this tree, one that's not even pre-lit, the quality should be way better than what it is."
"I am soooooo in love with this tree!" a different buyer wrote. "Its so shiny looking in person! It comes in three sections. It's so easy to put together. It took awhile to seperate all the branch parts and it doesn't look quite as full as the picture but it's still totally worth it!!! So so so happy I got it! Its beautiful!"
Seeing as though it seems likely that we're all going to be spending a lot more time in our own homes for the rest of this year (and beyond) than we're used to, it stands to reason that we might as well make a bit of an effort to spruce the place up a bit.
Personally speaking, Etsy has done a roaring trade off me of late as countless posters, drawers and lamps wing their way to my flat with such whimsical abandon on my part that the ruinous cost of all this furniture only occurs to me once it's too late.
Yes, social distancing has turned me into something of a maniac when it comes to online shopping, but don't let my over-eagerness put you off taking some time to redecorate that room you've been meaning to paint lilac for years, or some such similar home renovation project.
You can always treat yourself to a giant animatronic Pennywise, too:

And perhaps as we get towards the time of year when holidays start cropping up in earnest, you'll find people are going a bit more full on with the decorations than they have in previous years.
If this was very much your line of thinking while reading this, then I have some excellent news to share with you, because you can now buy a pre-lit Halloween tree for the spooky season of your wildest dreams.
Yes, Michaels is selling this six-foot artificial fir tree for $99 - and it comes replete with 150 incandescent lights to give off that special Halloween glow.
A product description for the tree reads;
"This black pencil tree will perfectly complement your Halloween décor. You can place it near your mantel, along with grapevine pumpkins and cheesecloth ghosts."
Yes, we're all more acquainted with the traditional Christmas tree than these spooky Halloween trees, but let's be honest, 2020 could do with all the help it can get to be enjoyable.
Although it might seem like early days yet, Christmas is coming, and the better prepared you are, the less stressful the celebrations will be.
For many of us, the biggest hassle that inevitably comes with the holidays is the fuss of setting up all the decorations.
First, you have to get them out of storage and then untangle everything, and if (like me) you have an artificial tree, then you have to spend many a weary hour assembling it.
You can never be too ready for the holidays, which is why this smart mom puts her decorations up three months early:

So if that sounds like a real drag, then I might just have the product for you. Yes, you can now buy yourself half a Christmas tree instead of a full-sized one, so you don't have to decorate the back of it.
If you just prop one of these babies up against a wall, then your friends and neighbors will be none the wiser, and there are a number of retailers offering a range of similar products.
For example, Hammacher Schlemmer is selling their so-called Against The Wall Christmas Tree for $249.95 (£193.33), which comes pre-arranged with its very own fairy lights to give it a bit of extra sparkle.
On Hammacher Schlemmer's official online store, the product's item description states:
"Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the semi-round Christmas tree that rests against a wall. Ideal for smaller living spaces where a full-sized tree is impractical, it possesses a full tree’s width and suggestion of depth due to its lifelike PVC and PE tips. [sic]"
The description adds:
"The boughs provide a sense of lush, dense foliage and are pre-strung with multicolor or warm white LEDs rated for 25,000 hours. With 822 tips and 350 lights. Select White or Multicolor. 78" H x 43" W x 22" D. (30 3/4 lbs.) [sic]"
However, if the steep price of the above tree is making you worried, then fear not: there is a cheaper alternative. Christmas Tree World is offering the Italian-designed Arbor Vitae Fir Half Tree for the relatively low cost of just $46.58 (£35.99).
The product's item description states:
"If you are looking for a stylish artificial Christmas half tree this year, look no further than the Italian designed Arbor Vitae Fir Half Tree collection. Half-trees are becoming increasingly popular in homes and businesses across the country, in addition to other trees or a space-saving alternative. [sic]"
It adds:
"The range provides a number of different sized artificial trees, from 4ft to 6ft, so it’s easy to find the perfect size for your room or venue. The Arbor Vitae Fir Tree is a traditional and high-quality Christmas tree that is available at a great price. It’s the perfect choice of tree for making your Christmas season that extra bit special. [sic]"
Meanwhile, over on Amazon, you can bag yourself the Chelsea Flatback Artificial Christmas Tree for just $77.52 (£59.90), which comes pre-strung with LED lights and fiber-optic needle tips.
So there you have it: why not literally cut your tree Christmas worries in half this year, so you can enjoy the holidays a little more?
Most of us have a favorite season. Whether it's getting sand stuck between our toes during the summer months, crunching leaves in the fall, or lying back in the snow and making angels. But what happens if you're a big summer fan in the winter? Well, chances are that you're going to spend most of the time longing for the warmer months.
And if you happen to fall into this category, Target may well be selling the perfect Christmas tree for you - a light-up palm tree - so you can bring a little beach into your life this winter. The perfect way to encourage yourself to embrace your least favorite season.

Priced at $69.99, the six-foot Christmas palm tree contains 150 lights and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. It's also got the bonus feature of being assemblable without any tools, so you can deck the halls without any additional stress.
In short, you can use the tree as it comes or pimp it out with the addition of tinsel and ornaments (we personally recommend these Golden Girls decorations).
The tree's product description reads:
"You'll want to grab your hammock for an afternoon nap when you spy this flourishing 6 ft. Palm Tree. With lush leaves, this tree looks ready to sway in the gentle breeze as the waves of the ocean roll in the background. The natural-looking trunk and decorative base just add to the tropic feel, making this an all-time favorite."
So if you're looking to have a very Florida Christmas, regardless of where you're located, then this Christmas palm tree is definitely an investment worth making for the 2019 festive season.
However, this is far from the only notable product being released this Christmas. Other brilliant options include this Hogwarts tree topper and this giant Buddy the Elf.
I know what you've been thinking: where can I buy a giant, light-up cow to decorate my lawn this Christmas?
Or perhaps, alternatively, how will I ever overcome my fatal addiction to bovine-themed lawn ornaments, particularly in the run up to the holiday season, when I am sure to be reminded of their existence, and - oh my god, what's this, a light-up one!?
Well, if you've been searching your soul with the first question then fear not, because I'm about to give you details of the light-up cow ornament of your dreams.
Netflix has revealed its Christmas movies for this year, check out their lineup right here:

If you're afflicted by the latter, then look away now, as this will do nothing but stoke the ceaseless fire that doubtless burns in your soul for cow lawn ornaments.
Of course, there's another alternative here: you're currently muttering to yourself, "what on Earth is a lawn ornament", and I have to say that, until alarmingly recently, I would have fallen into your camp.
But anyway, let's get down to the nitty gritty.
In a fun format, I'll ask the questions for you, and answer them, too.
1. Where can I buy this astonishing product?
You can buy it online at Home Depot, or at select stores across the country.
2. Ok, so how much does it cost?
If you want to stock up on your lawn ornaments this Christmas, then the light-up cow will set you back $99.
3. When you say "giant", what are we talking?
It's a 55-inch cow. A lawn ornament I think you could best describe as "striking". There's also a 36-inch version available at the lesser price of $69.
Filled with tiny LED lights, the cow is clad in black-and-white tinsel to further the festive feel of the whole affair.
Delish reports that the product comes with a giant red ribbon, is easily assembled, and is also fairly lightweight.
If you want to be the envy of your neighbour this holiday season, there's only one light-up giant cow lawn ornament you'll need.
