Carrie Underwood won us over when she claimed the title of American Idol way back in 2005. Since then, her musical career has really taken off. And just recently when updating fans with news about a new album and an upcoming tour, she dropped another huge announcement that she is pregnant with baby number two.

The 35-year-old got married to professional hockey player Mike Fisher in 2010, and they had their first child together five years after that. Little Isaiah is now three years old, and he should be expecting a little brother or sister in the coming year.

Carrie dropped the news over Instagram in the three-part video post with the (rather telling) caption: "Ooh baby do we have a bundle of info to share with you!" She gave details about her new album and the tour, before addressing the question of why she was only starting the tour in May 2019 when her album drops next month.

"You might be asking, 'Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?' Well..." she said, as the camera zoomed out to reveal four balloons spelling out "BABY" hoisted above her.

"Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond," she said excitedly. "This has just been a dream come true with album, and with baby news and all that stuff. We're just so excited and happy that you guys can share in this with us. Love you guys! We will see you on the road in 2019!"

The news comes after she had an interview with Redbook where she wondered if it was too late to have kids.

"I'm 35, so we may have missed our chance to have a big family," she said, "We always talk about adoption and about doing it when our child or children are a little older." However, the idea that she's too old to still have kids appeared to anger some fans, who know this not to be true.

But her worries turned out to be for nothing with the happy news that she's pregnant again. In April, she talked to People about how she and Mike manage to balance work commitments with family life.

“I remember when we first found out we were gonna have [Isaiah] it [was] like, ‘How are we gonna do this? Our lives are so crazy as it is,’" she said.

“But you just make room and you learn how important that family time is, and to be able to spend time and carve out some of that and maybe get to go on vacation and maybe get to go on a cruise — that stuff is so important to, like I said, make time for family. That’s what it’s all about.”

The country singer from Oklahoma will be releasing her first album since 2015's Storyteller, and it's titled Cry Pretty. And yes, it shares a name with her most recently released single.

Well, congratulations to Carrie and Mike. We wish you all the best!
