A woman has announced her own death in a heartwrenching post shared on LinkedIn.

Daniella Thackray, 25, a people administrator from Leeds, England, shared some final words after months of fighting a rare form of cancer.

She revealed in the pre-written message for her family, fiancé Tom, and dog Leo that she had sadly died of cholangiocarcinoma, a type of cancer that develops in the bile ducts - small tubes that connect the liver and gallbladder to the small bowel, as explained in Cancer Research UK.

The young professional encouraged her network to "enjoy the little things" in life and "cherish every moment".

Read Thackray's heartwrenching post below:

Thackray - who worked in a digital marketing agency - began the post: "If you’re reading this then it means I have died from my battle with cancer and my family are posting my final message on my behalf."

"Firstly, I just want to say that not all cancers are caused by lifestyle choices, in some cases it's genetics or unfortunately it just happens. In my case, despite me being very healthy and active, a cancer started in my bile ducts which was not caused by anything in my control and my life was never the same again."

"Cholangiocarcinoma is a rare aggressive cancer with often no obvious causes and no cure. I really really do hope that in the years to come more research is done about this horrid cruel disease so that more lives can be saved," she continued. "So with that being said, although we can’t control what happens to us, we can control how we react."

The late woman added that she chose to not "mourn the life I was losing despite being so devastated," but instead "enjoy every moment I had left," adding: "Romanticise your life! Do whatever makes you happy and don’t let anyone take the joy of life away from you."

She noted that despite her tragic health battle, she "loved" her life and everything she has achieved - especially her job, fiancé, family, friends, and dog. "So thank you everyone for making my life so magical. Remember what I said about enjoying the little things," she added.

The post was accompanied by a black and white picture of herself with her "fur baby" Leo on a beach, and expressed gratitude to him for helping her "brighten my darkest days".

The message concluded with a poignant quote from Winnie the Pooh, which read: "If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart… I’ll always be with you."

In an ode to her partner Tom, Thackray added: "I love you and always will. Thank you for supporting me and bringing so much love and happiness into my life. Go enjoy your life now, you deserve it."

As of this writing, the late woman's message amassed nearly 40K likes on LinkedIn, with many devastated users sharing their condolences in the comments section.

One user wrote: "In this realm of eternal peace, I extend my heartfelt condolences to you and your loved ones. While the battle against cancer may have been lost, the legacy of your courage and strength continues to shine brightly in the heavens above."

"May you find solace in the embrace of angels and the soothing melodies of celestial choir, knowing that your spirit remains cherished and your memory everlasting," they added.

Another said: "It is so wonderful to see how many people you have touched, how many reposts and reshares, and how your message is really storming the world - begging us to pause and stop moving through the motions. Sending all of my love to your family, your fiance, your puppy, and all your friends. You are loved by many!!"

A third commented: "Thank you, Daniella, your memory will live on and your words will continue to bring strength and comfort to others. May your family and soul rest in peace knowing that you are still with them always."
