Prince Harry is reportedly due to arrive in the UK today to be with his father after learning of the King's cancer diagnosis.

Buckingham Palace released a statement regarding the health of King Charles III yesterday, revealing that the monarch has sadly been diagnosed with cancer.

The diagnosis, which has shocked the nation, is not related to the recent surgery undergone by the 75-year-old monarch. Despite initial concerns, doctors have clarified that it is not prostate cancer but a separate form of the disease that was detected during medical procedures for an enlarged prostate.

Following the diagnosis, King Charles III has commenced a series of regular treatments, prompting medical advisors to recommend that he postpone public engagements for the time being.

Following the news, Prince Harry is believed to be already en route to London, having rushed to the airport to catch an urgent flight.

According to images obtained by The Sun, the 39-year-old Duke of Sussex has reportedly departed from LAX airport in Los Angeles, embarking on his journey to London to stand by his father's side during this challenging time.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle will remain in Montecito, California, with their children Archie and Lilibet.

A luxury Range Rover, presumably belonging to Harry's entourage, was spotted arriving at LAX's VIP terminal on Monday night.

Reports suggest that Prince Harry is expected to touch down in London around midday local time, where he will be promptly escorted to see his father.

King Charles III is believed to be recuperating at Clarence House today, with Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi seen leaving the premises this morning, as reported by Daily Mail.

The accommodations for Prince Harry during his stay in the UK remain undisclosed, as he no longer maintains an official royal residence there.

It's understood that previous flood warnings in California had caused delays in Harry's travel plans.

Since the Sussexes' departure from royal life in 2020, Prince Harry now travels with his own security team, after his father revoked their right to tax-funded police protection.

Amidst these developments, the Royal Family is also contending with health concerns regarding Princess Catherine, who continues to recover from abdominal surgery last month. The Princess of Wales will not undertake any royal engagements until after Easter.

In response to these circumstances, Prince William announced his return to public engagements, intending to step up on Wednesday in light of his father and wife's temporary absence.

Our thoughts are with King Charles III and his family during this time.
