A professional Princess Catherine lookalike has spoken out after theories circulated that it was her who was photographed in a recent farm shop visit.

In case you missed it, speculation about the Princess of Wales's whereabouts was silenced after she was spotted with Prince William at a farm shop near their home.

Since her last public sighting over Christmas, social media has been rife with theories and concerns about the Princess's well-being, with many questioning the absence of formal updates from the Palace regarding her health status.

While the sighting at the farm shop was initially met with skepticism due to the lack of photographic evidence, the doubts were dispelled as a video of the royal couple surfaced, released by The Sun.

The footage showed Princess Catherine enjoying the sunshine as she strolled alongside Prince William, engaged in conversation.

Despite the footage being pretty conclusive, social media was still full of doubters who offered alternative viewpoints... including the possibility that it was a lookalike instead of the actual Princess.

Heidi Agan, a renowned Princess Catherine look-alike who has impersonated the Royal at various events since 2012, addressed the swirling rumors in an interview with The Mirror, stating: "There has obviously been some speculation about whether it was Kate and William in that footage and stills."

Agan continued: "In fact, my own social media has gone crazy as people think it is me, but I know it is not. I was at work at the time so I know that is not me. I 100 percent believe that it is Kate Middleton and William in that video."

Agan refuted claims of her being in any of the recent paparazzi photos of the Princess, stating: "If the surgery is something that she wanted to keep private, then they [Kensington Palace] are right not to share more details."

Agan concluded: "So she is alive, and we can be sure about it. It has all gone too far now."

This recent sighting and the potential for an early return to public duties come in the wake of the Princess being photographed alongside Prince William leaving Windsor Castle last Monday.

The scrutiny intensified after Princess Catherine took responsibility for an edited family photograph released by Kensington Palace on Mother's Day, which sparked theories about her marriage due to her apparent lack of a wedding ring.

Following concerns raised by international photo agencies regarding the authenticity of the image, Princess Catherine addressed the issue on social media.

She stated on her and Prince William's official Twitter account: "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C."
