The noise around Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's nuptials has refused to die down. Since they tied the knot at St. George's Chapel in Windsor back in May, the newly appointed Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been making headline news almost everyday on account of everything from the erstwhile actress's sartorial choices to all the reasons why they are #CoupleGoals.

Now, to add fuel to the already blazing fire, Prince Harry reportedly loved Meghan's wedding day makeup so much that he personally thanked her makeup artist.

When Daniel Martin was tasked with doing Meghan Markle's makeup for her big day, the makeup artist decided that the most important thing was to ensure that she looked like herself - and if you were one of the 29 million people who tuned into the proceedings, you can attest to the fact that Martin achieved his goal.

Her beauty look was refreshingly simple and glowy, with her freckles wholly on display. The look was complimented by her hair, which was styled in a low, messy bun - thanks to hairstylist to the stars, Serge Normant.

Speaking about Markle's makeup look to InStyle, Martin said that he wanted it to be anything but trendy. "The last thing you want [is] to look at your wedding pictures and go, 'Remember when highlighting was the rage?'" he said. "At the end of the day, you want to look like your best self."

And Prince Harry purportedly loved it. "After the ceremony Harry kept saying thank you," Martin stated. "He was thanking me for making her look like herself."

How adorable, right?

Markle's hairstylist, Serge Normant, also opened up about how he achieved the twisted updo that the Duchess of Sussex sported on her wedding day.

Explaining how he created the look, Normant stated "We had to blow dry [her hair] from wet, I would say 45 minutes to an hour. Then they did the make-up and then you fiddle around with it a little bit. But it's not that long. I always tend to try and go as fast as I can at these events. Nobody wants to sit around."

Normant stressed that he was anxious to ensure that Meghan was comfortable with the look, and that it tapped into her signature style. "It's a messy bun, we call it. Messy in a controlled way," he continued. "I don't overload the hair with products in general and certainly not on this day."

And according to the Daily Mail, the hairstylist told reporters at Kensington Palace that he was "still pinching himself" after having the honour of styling Markle for the big day - and I mean, we would be too.

Well, it appears that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are settling into married life - and thankfully for us (and the tabloids) -  they seem as loved up as ever.
