Officially, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are two of the hottest actors around, who just so happen to have united to have made the hottest couple on the planet. Unofficially? They're just massive trolls.

By this time the pair is infamous for roasting each other on social media on a regular basis for their own - and our own - enjoyment - and no one can really deny that they're #couplegoals. However, it has recently come to our attention that the Gossip Girl has a new trolling partner in crime who goes by the name of Anna Kendrick. Otherwise known as the actress famous for the Pitch Perfect films, Into the Woods and Trolls, of course.

Yesterday, Blake uploaded posters for her upcoming movie, A Simple Favor, which is set to come out later this year, on Instagram. The movie co-stars Anna and follows a small-town blogger who tries to solve the disappearance of her mysterious and rich best friend.

Sounds simple enough, right? Well, not so much. In true Blake fashion, she took the chance to burn her husband in the caption, writing: "@annakendrick47 is the hotter, female(r) version my husband... so, would it reaaaally count as cheating??"

Of course, the Pitch Perfect star had to get involved in the flirting fun as well. It turns out that Anna also has a talent for trolling, which became clear when she wrote: "So glad we're finally taking this public. I let Ryan have Deadpool, he can give me this."

Immediately after the two stars posted on the social media site, people on Instagram flooded the comments section, @-ing Ryan and waiting for one of his classic savage comebacks.

"@vancityreynolds can you please respond so I can go on w my life," wrote one user, while another posted saying "@vancityreynolds chomping at the bit waiting for your response. You guys are the funniest."

"Scrolling for @vancityreynolds comeback," added another person.

Not long after, the actor came up with the reply that everyone was waiting for. And he didn't disappoint - but did admit defeat - writing: "The most ambitious crossover event in history. I'll miss you both. Tell my story."

As fans will know, it isn't even the first time this month that the married couple, who share two daughters, have teased one another online. Just over a week ago, the Deadpool actor shared a video on his Twitter account, which showed him being interviewed by his 'twin brother' Gordon. In the footage, Gordon roasts his bro about his career, children and gin company.

Of course, Blake had to get involved, commenting underneath: "Sh*t. Your brother is hot. I've made a terrible mistake..." Her husband clapped back, saying: "You haven't made a mistake. You've been living with him for over a year."

Will these two ever stop trolling each other on social media? Happily, for everyone, the answer is probably not.
