BREAKING: Fire breaks out on top floor of Trump Tower

A fire is believed to have broken out on the top floor of Trump Tower in Manhattan.

The Fire Department of New York says it was called at around 7am this morning to reports of a fire on the top floor.

The blaze was initially reported by local media outlets and the Fire Department has since confirmed that they are dealing with the incident.

There have been no immediate reports of injuries as a result of the blaze. The fire is believed to be under control, after FDNY issued the following tweet.

The Washington Post reports that President Trump was in Washington on Monday morning, as per his public schedule.
