Mom heroically captures creep who tried to film her 12-year-old daughter in a clothing store
Last Saturday in Salt Lake City, Utah, Doris Stiles-Scown noticed something was amiss. She was shopping for school supplies with her children, and was waiting for her 12-year-old daughter to change in a dressing room. She left the room for only a few moments before returning to find a stranger attempting to film from underneath the stall.
However, rather than simply chasing the man away, Doris took it upon herself to bring him to justice. After seeing that he was trying to grab her daughter's legs, she saw red and made sure she caught him before he fled the scene of the crime. She later posted a video of him onto her Facebook page, where it reached over 13 million views.
“This right here is what a predator looks like,” she says in the video. “I caught this guy underneath my daughter’s stall while she was changing at Rue 21. And I had to chase him all the way down, thankfully I got him. Not today, buddy.”
You can watch the video below:
"I’m going to make sure your face gets out so that you’re not in any more stalls … I’m going to make sure you go viral. You’re a sick pervert … Do you have kids?
“You’re going to leave a scar on her permanently.”
She has also vowed to attend the culprit's potential court dates, adding, “Not today, he didn’t get away from this mom.”
A police spokesperson has reportedly told Yahoo Lifestyle that the man in question was booked into jail on a charge of felony voyeurism, while official charges are pending.
