The mother of a fallen US Marine has accused President Joe Biden of rolling his eyes after she confronted him at the dignified transfer ceremony over the weekend.

Shana Chappell lost her 20-year-old son, Kareem Nikoui, who was killed in the ISIS-K suicide bombing amid hurried evacuations of Americans and Afghan refugees last week.

On Sunday, August 29, a dignified transfer ceremony took place at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware to honor Nikoui and the other 12 US troops who died in the attack as their caskets were brought back to the US from Afghanistan.

Biden's conduct at the ceremony has been heavily scrutinized this week, with many slamming the president for apparently looking at his watch to check the time as he watched the caskets being brought out.

It has particularly sparked outrage among parents of the slain troops. In fact, Chappell has gone as far as to say of the 78-year-old Democrat: "My son's blood is on your hands."

The grieving mother took to Facebook after the ceremony to condemn Biden, who she claimed tried to give her his own "sob story" when she reminded him that she "would never get to hug my son again, hear his laugh."

According to the post, Chappell even had to interrupt the president to tell him "this isn’t about you, so don’t make it about you."

She continued: "You then said you just wanted me to know that you know how i feel and i let you know that you don’t know how i feel and you do not have the right to tell me you know how i feel!

"U then rolled your f***ing eyes in your head like you were annoyed with me and i let you know that the only reason i was talking to you was out of respect for my son and that was the only reason why.

"I then proceeded to tell you again how you took my son away from me and how i will never get to hug him, kiss him, laugh with him again etc… u turned to walk away and i let you know my sons blood was on your hands and you threw your hand up behind you as you walked away from me like you were saying 'ok whatever!!!' [sic]"

Like other parents at the ceremony, Chappell also took issue with Biden's apparent need to check his watch several times during the event.

She wrote: "Btw as my son and the rest of our fallen Heros were being taken off the plane yesterday i watched you disrespect us all 5 different times by checking your watch!!! What the f*** was so important that you had to keep looking at your watch????"
