50 Cent and Tekashi69's latest music video descended into chaos after shots were reportedly fired during filming.

The two rappers had been shooting footage for their new single in Brooklyn on Tuesday when a car was reported to have pulled up and fired 11 shots out of the window.

Despite the shots, neither rapper was injured during the incident and there were also no injuries on set or on the street. According to TMZ, a white sports car with New Jersey licence plates pulled up at 10:30 pm before the shots were fired. The website goes on to state that "based on the shell casings it appears the shooter used a 9mm semi-automatic weapon."

For 6ix9ine, it's the latest twist in a year that has been marred by controversy and criticism surrounding the New York native. The GOTTI rapper is facing a three-year jail term after he posted a sex video of a 13-year-old girl online.

Speaking to the supreme court in Manhattan, Assistant District Attorney Sara Weiss revealed that he had broken the terms of his probation. She said: "He has violated his plea agreement. The defendant should be sentenced to a state prison sentence of one to three years."

In 2015, the rapper admitted to using a child during a sexual performance in which a 13-year-old girl could be seen giving oral intercourse while Tekashi stood behind her. Then, in a separate video, the same girl could be seen sitting on Tekashi's lap while another man groped her chest. As part of his plea deal, the rapper agreed to not commit another crime for two years so that he wouldn't have to register as a sex offender.

If he breached his deal, Tekashi was told that he would face up to three years in prison. However, the rapper, 22, was arrested on Wednesday after he touched down at JFK Airport in New York. An arrest warrant was out after he missed a court date over allegations that he chocked a 16-year-old in a shopping centre in Houston.

The rapper was also arrested in May for driving without a licence, assaulting a police officer and obstructing governmental administration.

When not in trouble with the law, Tekashi has been landing himself in trouble with gangsters and other rappers. A few months ago, the rapper was robbed for $750,000 worth of jewellery. According to him, it was "an inside job." Speaking to DJ Akademiks, the rapper said:  “It wasn’t no outside n—-s. It’s n—as that know how the king of New York moves,” he said, referring to himself.

“The only person that can get a Pharaoh in Egypt is the person who helped build the f—in’ kingdom, you know what I’m saying? The n—a that’s right next to him. The n—a that know who built that shit, that got the blueprints.”

The rapper went on to compare the situation to the robbery that ended with XXXTentacion’s death earlier this year. “I’m just happy to be alive,” he said. “I look at the X situation like, ‘That could have been me.’ That would have been the same situation if I didn’t give it up.”

After the interview, he posted a photo of XXXTentacion on Instagram and wrote: “As crazy as it sounds.. yesterday morning I had a feeling that it was my day to die. May GOD strike me dead if I’m lying. Everything happens for a reason. I know you was there. Nothing materialistic is more important then LIFE. I live to see another DAY. I get to see my daughter another day. No Hate Charge it to the streets.”

An investigation into the shooting continues.
