Taco Bell is opening their own Taco Bell-themed hotel, the fast-food giant announced earlier today.

The Bell: A Taco Bell Hotel and Resort will start taking bookings from June before officially opening on August 9 in Palm Springs, California.

Every aspect of the hotel will be designed according to a distinct Taco Bell theme. For instance, guests will be provided with hot sauce packet pool floats, Taco Bell-branded robes and an on-site gift shop selling exclusive Taco Bell clothing.

"This idea of allowing people to kind of fully experience and embrace and immerse themselves in every aspect of the Taco Bell lifestyle led us to the idea of doing a hotel," Taco Bell's chief global brand officer, Marisa Thalberg, told Business Insider.

"We're really just creating experiences that feel like a reflection and extension of the essence of Taco Bell at its very best," Thalberg adds. "Oftentimes they're born out of real consumer insights or behaviours. And I think that's what makes them very valid and very legitimate."

This certainly isn't the first time Taco Bell has gone above and beyond to reinvent their image. In 2017, the fast-food chain started hosting Taco Bell-themed weddings in their Las Vegas Cantina flagship location. To date, more than 165 have gotten married, courtesy of Taco Bell.

For now, The Bell will only be open for a limited time, but Thalberg says she would "never say never" to a full-time Taco Bell-themed hotel.

In any case, the hotel promises to be "inspired by tacos and fueled by fans. Everything from guest rooms to breakfast and poolside cocktails will be infused with a Taco Bell twist, making this the flavour-filled getaway of 2019."

"The Bell stands to be the biggest expression of the Taco Bell lifestyle to date. It will be fun, colourful, flavourful and filled with more than what our fans might expect," Thalberg says. "Also, just like some of our most sought-after food innovation, this hotel brings something entirely new for lucky fans to experience and enjoy."

Based on how popular the restaurant is, rooms will be booked out pretty quickly. So, if you want to be in with a chance of staying at the hotel, then remember to start booking next month.
