One of the biggest sensations this summer, if you missed out on the trend, is the pool float. Not just one-person crafts, but absolutely massive unicorns and flamingos to chill out on with multiple friends, floating around doing absolutely nothing in the sun. Apparently, however, even relaxing on a gigantic inflatable floater is a little too much for some people to handle.

Last weekend, a group of women in Stark, Minnesota, came across a spot of bother. It seemed that when they took their unicorn floater out onto a lake nearby, they didn't think up an escape plan for their summer adventure on the water.

According to the Chisago County Sheriff's Office, two deputies were passing by Fish Lake near Stark, when they saw the group on a massive unicorn pool float. This being a little out of the ordinary, they approached to see if they could catch a glimpse of the float, and maybe a couple of photos too. However, when they approached, they found that the women were in need of some help.

Caught up in a bunch of weeds in the lake, it seemed their afternoon lounging on the inflatables hadn't quite gone to plan. Once the deputies realised the five women were stuck, one of the officers sprung into action.

The Sheriff's office posted the video onto their Twitter, and have so far racked up over 2,000 retweets and nearly 7,000 likes.

"Driving by a local lake we observed a bunch of women in a stuck in the weeds...Yes a rainbow unicorn... With a handful of laughs and some mad rescue roping skills they were pulled back to the dock! #wherestheglitter," the tweet read. As it turns out, whoever handling their social media is absolutely going for it.

While it may sound swell to jump on one of these floats and enjoy the summer sun - a little thought ahead doesn't hurt.
