If you've ever been to a music festival, you know things can get pretty crazy. Everybody drives out to the middle of nowhere, sets up a tent, and watches concerts for multiple days. That's a lot of time to get drunk, and maybe do other drugs too. Whether it's a festival for hip-hop, rock or EDM, you can always count on seeing some craziness.

However, a really bizarre incident happened at the Winstock Music Festival in Winsted, Minnesota. 19-year-old Kaitlyn Strom got her head stuck in the oversized tailpipe of a pickup truck. If case you were wondering, this was a country music festival, because of course this would happen at a country music festival. And as someone who grew up in Minnesota, I'd just like to say, I've never been more proud of my home state.

The Facebook page Truck Rice uploaded a video of the incident, which went viral, getting 1.4 million views. It's only five seconds long, so you might want to pause it to take in the hilarious image. The young woman sits on the grass, with her head jammed in the diesel exhaust pipe. Next to her, a man slides under the truck with a power saw to rescue her. Then he asks, "What's wrong, miss? Are you...exhausted?" Okay, he didn't actually say that, but he should have. Real missed opportunity.

Speaking with Hutchinson Leader, Kaitlyn explained how she into this awkward situation. "We were just all having fun and I saw this big exhaust pipe and I was like, ‘Hey, my head could probably fit in that,' so I tried it. It did fit, but it didn’t want to come back out." Once inside the dark pipe, she tried to remain calm. "I didn’t know what was going on, because I couldn’t see around me. But I trusted everyone who was around that I knew to get me out safely."

And they did. After about 45 minutes, the Winsted Fire Department was called to cut off the pipe and free her head. Then she posed for a photo with the truck's owner, Tom Wold. On the caption, she wrote, "'Yeah I'm the tail pipe girl, whatchu know about it? #winstock2k18kickedmyass." Indeed, it did. "The Tail Pipe Girl" went on to describe Tom as "wonderful." "I remember getting my head unstuck, and I just looked at him and apologized, and he said, ‘No, I’m just glad you’re OK. Don’t worry about it.'"

Luckily, Kaitlyn was not harmed in the trucked-up incident. However, she was escorted from the festival and the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office cited her for underage drinking. I'm sure that does not come as a surprise to anyone. The person who posted the Facebook video wrote, "How much alcohol does it take to get your head stuck in a diesel pickups exhaust tip?" (I'm guessing a lot.)

Well, at least she owned up to the experience and has a sense of humor about it. Enjoy your Internet fame, Tail Pipe Girl!
