Avengers star Josh Brolin awkwardly thirsts over on-screen daughter
If you thought the worst thing Thanos could do was throwing his own daughter to her death on Vormir so he could retrieve the soul stone so that he could, in turn, wipe out half of all life in the universe with a single snap - think again!
Because the man behind Thanos, actor Josh Brolin, has left Instagram users shocked by leaving a rather "over-eager" comment on his on-screen daughter's latest post.
Zoe Saldana gives her Instagram followers a BTS look at her Avengers transformation:
The stunning Zoe Saldana, who plays hero Gamora in both the Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers movies, recently posted a very revealing and stunning pic to her 7.1 million Instagram followers. Writing in the caption, "Pre-everything….", I'm sure we can all agree that Zoe looks great.
Looking as beautiful as the 41-year-old does, it goes without saying that the pic attracted a lot of love and attention, racking up more than 650,000 likes. But one person who enjoyed the picture left some Insta users a little uncomfortable.
Fellow Avengers star Josh Brolin couldn't just keep scrolling after seeing Saldana's post, and the 51-year-old actor left a rather thirsty comment saying: "Dang @zoesaldana."
Now, seeing as Brolin plays Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Saldana plays his on-screen daughter Gamora, several people found his tongue-in-cheek comment hilariously inappropriate.
"Stay away Thanos!" one Instagram user urged, with another one typing: "Smells like Alabama".
Instagram user gunnerforever07 joked: "@joshbrolin now is that any way to talk to your daughter...?"
And user colehai (who clearly isn't over Avengers: Infinity War) said: "@joshbrolin kinda makes you feel like s**t for throwing her into a pit for a stone doesn’t it???.?.?.?.?.?.???"
Check out Josh Brolin read out some of Trump's tweets as Thanos:
But perhaps the most underrated comment on the post came from Instagram user themoyer who typed: "@joshbrolin lol though I will say I would've figured a more appropriate response would've been 'Oh snap'".
Oh snap, indeed!
