Hollywood's most eligible bachelor appears to be off the market.
America's sweetheart, Chris Evans, is reportedly dating 25-year-old Portuguese actress, Alba Baptista, a source revealed to People Magazine.
"They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her," they told the outlet.
The report states that the secret love affair has been going on for "over a year and it's serious."
So what do we know about Evans' alleged lover?
Well, according to her official IMDb page, Alba Baptista is an actress who started her early career in Lisbon, Portugal. First appearing in the series Jardins Proibidos, she took on the role of Inês Correia for a year before venturing into other roles. However, in 2020, she got her first stint with Netflix in Warrior Nun shortly before allegedly meeting her now-boyfriend.
Baptista is also known for her philanthropy and her recent work involves aid at an orphanage in Cambodia that focuses on education.
The news of the relationship was supposedly confirmed when snapshots of both Evans and the 25-year-old actress holding hands were posted online.
Upon seeing the evidence, some fans have started mourning the loss of Evans' single status.
"If Chris Evans was going to date someone so young, I literally could've been on the roster," tweeted one user.
"It’s a dark day for me, woke up to the news of Chris Evans new girlfriend. I feel defeated," another added.

Others however, have been discussing a more pressing matter; the age gap.
