Everyone thinks this Doritos Super Bowl ad just confirmed Tyrion Lannister's true identity

Game of Thrones has such a massive following that every time a new season airs everyone loses their minds a little bit. And even when the final episode comes and goes, there is still plenty of things for Westeros obsessives across the world to talk about. From rumors about what's coming next to elaborate theories about clues left in what we have seen, there are plenty of things in the world that George R.R. Martin created that we can over-think.

The hit HBO show has such a complex web of family histories, dynasties and allegiances spanning years, that there's plenty of material for Redditors Twitter users and YouTubers to delve into. This is definitely true when it comes to the Targaryens, with many theorizing that Jon Snow would be secretly a relation of the family long before it was revealed in the series.

Not only that, but 2017 gave us the news that Jon and Daenerys were technically aunt and nephew - information viewers discovered right at the moment the two gave into their sexual tension and spent a little alone time together. But that's not the end of it - many have thought in the past that Tyrion Lannister could be a Targaryen too.

It's unknown whether this fan theory will be confirmed or not in the show's final season, which is set to air in 2019, but that hasn't stopped some people from thinking about it, especially with the release of the Doritos and Mountain Dew Super Bowl ads.

The Super Bowl is centered around two competing teams, but let's face it - a lot of people are there for the halftime show and the commercials. While advertisements are normally the most frustrating part about watching sports on television, the Super Bowl is so massive that everyone steps up their game, with biggest blockbusters releasing trailers and brands employing the biggest names in show business for elaborate shorts.

This year was no different, with Doritos employing none other than Morgan Freeman to advertise their product in an odd way: rapping. Well, lip-syncing, anyway. Morgan Freeman mimed along to Missy Elliot's Get Ur Freak On, as part of a rap battle against everyone's favorite Game of Thrones actor, Peter Dinklage.

In the video, Freeman represents the Mountain Dew Ice, with the room around him freezing over. On the other side, Dinklage lip syncs to Busta Rhymes' Look At Me Now in a palatial room surrounded by fire, even literally breathing a spark of fire at one point. Taking two of the internet's favorite actors was a good shout, as evidenced by the fact the video has already amassed over 2.5 million views on YouTube.

With Tyrion Lannister on Daenery's side, and possibly a lost member of the Targaryen family as well, some are theorizing he could end up on the throne when it all goes down in 2019. On top of that, many are hoping that Freeman's appearance signals his own appearance on the show for its final season.

It's hard not to be reminded of this when you see Dinklage spitting fire (in more ways than one), but we'll have to wait and see how it all turns out.
