The first trailer for 'Peaky Blinders' season four is finally here

Peaky Blinders, the gangster drama set in the 1920's streets of post-war Birmingham, is one of the best television shows to come out of Britain. There's shooting, fighting, sex, incredible costumes, killer music, Tommy Shelby (*heart eyes*), and a phenomenal script with some very cutting dialogue. It's brilliantly shot, and every episode feels like a film in itself.

As Aunt Polly said, “Don’t f**k with the Peaky Blinders.”

Season 3 finished over a year ago with a thrilling finale that left everyone agonising for more. By now, we know that filming for season 4 has finished, and a 5th series has been confirmed too. Heck bloody yes.

There are bits and pieces that have been released by the producers to give an idea about what the new season will be like. Cillian Murphy, who plays Tommy, said the new season is "the best yet". He'll be joined again by Tom Hardy, plus Adrien Brodie and Aidan Gillen (AKA Game of Thrones' Littlefinger) will be coming on board for the new season too.

They teased us with this first photo of the new season:

And today, the season four trailer was released. BBC Two shared it on Twitter and hold my fedora because season 4 is already looking to be epic:

Chills everywhere.

The whole gang will be returning to Birmingham in the new season, after having left in season 3 (to the disappointment of some).

"In the classic gangster arc, the last season was sort of all about the wealth, the house and all that material stuff. This season is sort of a return to the roots. That's about as much as I can reveal," said Murphy in a radio interview about the new season.

People are getting a tiny bit excited by the new trailer:

No official date has been released for the first episode, so everyone stay on the edge of your seats.
