Jason Momoa reveals he would 'love' to play Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Aquaman and Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa has revealed he would love to play Wolverine in the character's adaptation for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Following the events of Logan (spoiler: he dies) and Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox, the world is on the lookout for a new Wolverine to bring us into an unheralded new era - and although he's fresh off making all the money that comes with his titular role in Aquaman, Momoa says he'd be more than down to play the famously hotheaded Canadian.
The Game of Thrones actor was in San Antonio for Celebrity Fan Fest, and took questions from the audience - one of them being whether he'd be happy to portray Wolverine. The character is inextricably linked to Hugh Jackman, who played the mutant with the claws for nearly two decades, but Momoa was up for the challenge.

"I'd love to play Wolverine... [Hugh Jackman] was phenomenal. I grew up just loving Wolverine," gushed Momoa.

Well, let's see some balanced and measured Twitter reactions, shall we?
Oh boy. Well, if the executives at Marvel check social media, they know exactly who not to cast as Wolverine, if they're bringing him back that is...
