Amazon is now selling a mini beer keg for your kitchen

What if beer was like water? We've all thought about it before. While it will likely never be as readily available, you can now get it on-tap (without the hassle of a full-size keg or a bar), which is probably as close as you'll ever get.

Leave the stench and noise of the local bar behind you. Whether you want to host a backyard BBQ with some friends, serve draught beer at a dinner party, or have a solo brew at the end of a long day, now you can.

Krups sells a personal-sized draught beer tap for your home; and the cute little contraption houses two liters of beer (or four pints). For some, that's a whole evening at the bar on the comfort of your own sofa. The tap even chills to 2°C (or 35.6°F, which is slightly warmer than your fridge).

The tap fits kegs filled with Heineken, Birra Moretti, Tiger, and several other beers whose brewers are hopping on this train. Whether you're into IPAs or ciders, you have so many options to chose from. And even though you'll have to drink a keg in 15 days before it goes bad, if you're buying a beer keg, you probably aren't the type of person who will have to rush to consume it.

Check out this beer-lover become an instant legend after catching a foul baseball and chugging his brew:

The beer tap is only £79 ($98) on Amazon and comes in black, red, and grey. If you really know what you're about, there is also a special Heineken edition tap. And if you're super sure the Dutch beer is for you, you can even get a five-pack of two-liter Heineken beer barrels for only £49.20.

The process is super easy too. To start, pop your beer barrels in the fridge before you're ready to drink. When it's time to kick back, load them into the tap, wait for a green light, and get pouring.

Get the Draught Beer Tap for your mate who loves beer but is always too tired to go out. Or your parents, who don't have it in them to hit the pub anymore. Or, as is the case with me, get it for yourself - because you deserve it. Cheers!
