A <a href="https://vt.co/news/world/mom-hits-back-after-video-of-her-breastfeeding-is-shared-online-without-her-consent">mom</a> has sparked a debate after she said that she'll never leave her daughter alone with any of her male family members. Taking to TikTok, mom-of-two Aubrey AKA user @theorganicmami opened up about the "controversial" ways she will raise her daughter as a "young, first-time mom." Starting the clip while doing a little 'get ready with me' she said: "No sleepovers, not even with family members. And she will never be left alone with a male. I don't care if you're the grandparent, the uncle or the cousin." She continued: "I won't treat my daughter any differently to my son, for instance, me letting my son go out late but not my daughter because it's too dangerous for a woman - I'm just going to treat them both the same." And if you're one of those people now saying 'I'll give you candy when your mom's not here, just don't tell her', that's the quickest way to never see us again." Aubrey also added that just because certain things are expected, she won't push her children to just accept it and follow through. "She doesn't have to kiss you, hug you, or sit on your lap just because you asked her to and because you're a relative and haven't seen her in a long time," she said in the clip. "She doesn't have to respect you if you don't also respect her, as a child she still will have opinions and emotions and she is allowed to feel a certain way." Not only that but the mom-of-two also explained that she will stress the importance of taking "mental health days" in an attempt to "regulate their emotions." However, she also had a unique perspective when it came to education and healthcare. "We're not going to do a public school system that makes you sit at a desk for eight hours and not learn anything you really care about," she told her followers. "We will always use holistic methods before we resort to Western medicine, and I'm not going to force [my daughter] to share or finish her plate of food. "I am teaching her to stand up for herself, set boundaries and say no," she continued. "I won't ever talk poorly about myself in front of her and I won't make comments about her appearance or body image," she said. "I am teaching her she can always come to me and never has to hide anything. As a mom, I will make mistakes and I will own up to it and apologize. "Nothing will ever be just because I said so, I will have legitimate reasons," she said before adding: "I am also going to travel with her even when it's hard with a toddler, it's worth making all the memories and experiences with our family. "I want her to know her worth and never look to others for validation," she concluded in her two-minute video. Of course, a lot of people had a lot to say about the rules, with some criticizing her for already limiting her children, especially with the point about sleepovers. "She won’t ever be allowed to have sleepovers with her friends? No judgement. "We get sleepovers make childhood memories or kids will hate you for not letting them but they will thank you later. So many unfortunate stuff happen," this user wrote. Others also pointed out that the no hugging rule was important: "The no hugging thing! Thank you! I hated when my mom would force us to hug people I did not like.
