A wife has been left horrified after her husband got a tattoo of her snoring on his thigh.

The hilarious tattoo was revealed by the man himself, James McGraw, on Facebook earlier this month (we can only assume it was an early Christmas present), and needless to say, it's attracted a lot of attention on the social media website.

He captioned the pictures: "Don't know what her problem is... everyone else seems to like it."

One sympathetic person commented: "I would kill you."

Meanwhile, another questioned: "Anyone know if James is still alive?"

In response to one commentor, James said the tattoo was "finest work yet", adding: "I seriously can't stop laughing every time Kelly walks by."

James, 40, admitted that he got the tattoo as revenge after his wife Kelly, 37, gave him a bad haircut.

Then, in an interview with the Sun, he admitted that playing pranks on each other is an important part of his and his wife's relationship and that they have been doing it for 24 years.

"I'm one up at the moment - but I'm also scared because I don't know what she's now planning," he said.

Kelly remarked: "There's a line and he's crossed it big time. We're just a normal family but our banter's got out of hand."

"It's still really raw. We do mess about anyway but this is on another level."

Kelly said that she was "horrified" when she first saw the tattoo, but she has now learned to appreciate the funny side of her partner forever being inked with a less than flattering snap of her.

However, she has warned James to "watch his" back as she is now planning her revenge.

"I'll think of something to get him back, but it's going to have to be really, really bad to top that," she said.
