Mother-in-law suggests bride give new husband a blow job in their wedding photos

If you believe the plots of many a cheesy sitcom or hacky standup comedian routine, you'll be of the opinion that your mother-in-law is out to destroy you.

While they're often characterised as shrill women who are difficult to cooperate with, once you get out there in the real life, you'll notice that most of the time, they're just looking out for their son or daughter, and are not actively looking to destroy you. Some of them - shock horror - might actually be quite fun. Like this mother-in-law-to-be out in the Netherlands.

Ahead of this Dutch couple's upcoming nuptials, their extended family wanted this wedding to be extra fun and memorable - and that includes the wedding photos. For their shoot out in the forest, one of the couple's mothers suggested to the photographer, Michael Klooster, that the happy couple engage in some good old oral sex.

Klooster posted the photo of the sex act online on his page, and unsurprisingly, they've already been shared quite a few times. In the caption, he wrote: "Some newlyweds cannot wait for the party to be over so they can quietly retreat to their suite for a smashing wedding night. Luckily they already exchanged their wedding vows and they were officially married."

He's kidding, of course. The whole thing was staged, and the bride was not, in fact, giving her new husband a blowjob at their wedding. This is just a simulated sex act, and although I'd be a little bit unnerved if my future mother-in-law suggested such a thing, Klooster said that all parties involved were pretty happy to pretend to get to third base.

"I don’t want private parts visible on the picture, but everything that creates the impression is interesting. They were anyway very cheerful people. A nice and casual wedding, at which everything did not have to be so formal."

I can go along with that. When you get married, do you really want to be stood around taking stuffy photos on end? Do you want your kids to look back on your photos and wonder why Mommy or Daddy looked increasingly angry at Grandma? No, you don't. It's all for a little bit of fun, so what's the harm?

Klooster said about as much when he dismissed the idea that this photoshoot could be offensive, saying "life is prudish enough as it is". I tend to agree with him.

"Anyone who thinks this is offensive still lives in the year 1996 according to my opinion. Of all the pictures taken, there is one that is playful, which in 10 years is still fantastic to talk about. Give these people their joy. That is also something I wish to you. Life is already prudish enough."

Michael Klooster seems to know what life is about, doesn't he? Whether you're making it look like you're oral sex, or having fake 69s or simulating an orgy at your wedding, just make sure you have fun doing it. That's what it's all about, right? Still, I hope Klooster got a tip for all his work. By which I mean, I hope he got paid a little extra money. Not the other kind of tip.
