This student poisoned her black roommate by wiping bodily fluids on her stuff

In perhaps the worst case of bullying I've ever heard of, a University of Hartford student named Briana Brochu was poisoning her roommate. Brochu called her roommate a "Jamaican Barbie", and bragged on Instagram about wiping bodily fluids on her property for an entire year in order to make her sick.

Chennel Rowe, the poor roommate who was being poisoned, posted a Facebook video nearly two hours long discussing what had happened to her:

Rowe explained how sick she became:

"It started with throat pain. I thought maybe because it’s colder up here [at college], I’m just catching a cold. After a month it got to the point where I had extreme throat pain that I couldn’t sleep, to the point where I couldn’t speak...I'm spending my own money that my parents give me for food and groceries, the health centre on campus is not free – in fact they're expensive."

According to journalist Shaun King, "Brochu was putting her roommates toothbrush up her ass. Pouring moldy food & spitting in lotion/liquids. Rubbing used tampons on her gear."

Brochu posted on Instagram, in a pathetic and cruel brag:

"Finally did it yo girl got rid of her roommate!! After 1 1/12 month of spitting in her coconut oil, putting moldy clam dip in her lotions, rubbing used tampons on her backpack, putting her toothbrush places where the sun doesn't shine and so much more I can finally say goodbye Jamaican Barbie."

Brochu's Instagram is now private, which is no surprise. She's been expelled from the university, in a rare case of justice. Being a sociopath, occasionally, does fire back against you in the long-run.

University of Hartford president Greg Woodward said:

"There has been an outpouring of concern for the victim of these acts from across the University and the country. In my meeting with her yesterday, I reiterated my personal commitment to ensuring she has all available personal and academic resources the University can provide."

Even Shonda Rhimes had to say something:

University president Greg Woodward continued:

“One of our students was the alleged victim of bullying and her story was shared across social media. Let me be clear: the accused student’s behavior was reprehensible and does not reflect the values of our institution. Let me also be clear that I am confident the University has taken all steps to pursue this matter seriously, and will continue to do so.

“The incident has brought about accusations of racism, and I want you to know that I hear and share your anger and frustration. Acts of racism, bias, bullying, or other abusive behaviors will not be tolerated on this campus. I pledge to do everything in my power to work with our community to address related concerns together."

Briana Bochu has been charged with criminal mischief, and will appear in court. The police department also intends to solidify the bigotry element of the case - that Bochu did this to her roommate because she was black.

“She will not be returning to the institution," said Greg Woodward. We can only hope she never steps foot on a college campus again.
