Rebel Wilson has named the actor she lost her virginity to when she was 35, and he was unaware that it was her first time.

The release of Wilson's book, Rebel Rising, promises an intimate look into her private life and career, including delving into her sex life.

In a revealing conversation with PEOPLE, Wilson discussed losing her virginity at 35, while offering advice to those who feel pressured to have sex at a young age.

"Not everybody has to lose their virginity as a teenager," she said. "People can wait till they're ready or wait till they're a bit more mature. And I think that could be a positive message."

Opening up about her struggles with the subject, Wilson admitted to avoiding conversations and fabricating stories to conceal the age at which she lost her virginity. "Normally I would just leave the room when the conversation was happening," she shared.

The journey to losing her virginity, as detailed in her memoir, was intertwined with Wilson's struggles with weight, as she reflected: "As a big girl, no one would ever truly find me sexually attractive."

Embracing a newfound sense of empowerment, Wilson recalled her decision to embrace her sexuality, stating: "I put it out into the universe that I was finally ready. I was going to feel the fear and just do it. I was going to slut it up with the next guy that came along — who also seemed like a suitable marriage candidate."

Wilson has disclosed in her new memoir that comedian and actor Mickey Gooch Jr. was her first sexual partner at the age of 35.

Addressing her How to Be Single co-star, Wilson penned: "Micks, I know this might be news to you if you are reading this, but yes I lost my virginity to you," as reported by the Daily Mail.

Confirming the revelation to the New York Times, Wilson further expressed: "Mickey was the first person to read my book, so he knows now."

Wilson and Gooch Jr. shared a brief romance in 2015, with sightings of the duo showing their affection for each other during a dinner date in Manhattan.

Preparing for the occasion, Wilson candidly admitted to watching adult content and using a vibrator the night before, confessing: "I'd imagine having sex and being intimate and everything would always be in my head."

Following the split with Gooch Jr. in September 2015, Wilson reflected on the experience, remarking: "Not everybody has to lose their virginity as a teenager."
