Gypsy Rose Blanchard's ex has promised that people will see "what really happened" to cause the two stars to suddenly announce their split.

Fans were left shocked last week when Gypsy Rose Blanchard announced that she and her husband Ryan Scott Anderson would be breaking up via a social media post.

"People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation, and I moved in with my parents' home down the bayou," the statement posted to her private Facebook account read.

"I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now, I need time to let myself find... who I am."

A few days later, Anderson told the Daily Mail that the split "came out of the blue," adding that he was not "doing well with it."

He was also shocked that his now-ex was spending quality time with her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker, to whom she was engaged in 2018 before ending things in 2019.

The pair even went as far as getting matching tattoos - so messy!

"I had no idea she still had such strong feelings for him," Anderson told the outlet.

And it seems as though the hurt lover is not through with venting about his loss.

Taking to Instagram and TikTok on Saturday, he thanked fans for the overwhelming amount of support he's received over the past few days before opening up about the fact that the pair are still in contact due to external circumstances.

"I just want to thank everybody for the support. It’s been great. I’m just living my life guys," Anderson said in the video explaining that he and Blanchard are still filming for her forthcoming Lifetime show which will explore her life beyond prison.

"Y'all will see what really happened on Lifetime. We're filming a lot so stay tuned for that," he said.

He concluded the clip thanking everyone for their support once again saying: "And I just want to thank everybody for the support. If you support me, follow me. I will post more stuff eventually. I’m just hanging in. I just want to say thank y’all to everybody and God bless."

It comes after the former couple exchanged vows in a jailhouse wedding ceremony in July 2022 while Blanchard served eight years in prison for the 2015 murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, which was carried out by her ex-boyfriend Nick Godejohn.
