Fans have been left stunned after finding out Paul Rudd's real age following recent birthday celebrations.
The Hollywood star began his career in 1992 after starring as Kirby Quimby Philby in the NBC drama series Sisters before making his film debut opposite Alicia Silverstone in the cult classic, Clueless (1995).
Throughout his early career, he had supporting roles in movies such as Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995), Romeo + Juliet (1996), The Object of My Affection (1998), and The Cider House Rules.
The star's career took a major turn when he played the role of Scott Lang in Marvel’s Ant-Man (2015) and its sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018). He reprised the role for battle scenes in Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Endgame (2019), which became the highest-grossing superhero movie in history.
The actor is known for his seemingly ageless appearance.
During a Clueless reunion in 2019, Rudd was asked why he still looks as young as he did when the movie came out and he responded: "I’m 80 years old on the inside. In here, pure darkness - and a little moisturizer."
In 2021, during Ghostbusters: Afterlife promotions, he offered a similar answer about his youthful appearance, stating: "This is all done with smoke and mirrors. I’m a hologram," and during a 2022 interview, he revealed that he wears sunscreen because "I don't want to get skin cancer."
In addition to this, The 40-year-old Virgin actor told Men’s Health in 2023 that sleep is the most important thing that’s keeping him rejuvenated. "Sleep. Then diet. Then weights. Then cardio. The most important part of training is sleep," he added.
Despite the actor's openness about what's causing his eternal youth, fans believe something more ominous is at play - especially as he turned 55 on Saturday (April 6).
One user on X (formerly Twiter) joked: "Why are we even celebrating Paul Rudd’s birthday? Do vampires celebrate birthdays? If you don’t age…what’s the point."
Another shared a similar sentiment, writing: "Happy birthday to the aging vampire #PaulRudd Dude never age!"
A third remarked: "Ok I’m now fully subscribed to the Paul Rudd is a vampire theory - like HE JUST DOESN’T AGE. Who ya gonna call? Gh… Buffy the Vampire Slayer?"

One user wished Rudd a happy birthday and shared a hilarious clip of Ryan Gosling talking about the Marvel star "aging backward" during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in 2021.
"He’s aging backward because of his contract with Satan," he said of the 55-year-old at the time. "Or he only drinks breast milk from a blue whale or something. I heard he does something weird - and I want in."
