In an eventful divisional round playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, it was more than just the on-field action that grabbed headlines.

While the Chiefs secured a 27-24 victory, it was Travis Kelce's older brother, 36-year-old Jason Kelce, who stole the spotlight as the true MVP of the game.

During the game, a shirtless Jason was spotted holding a young Bills fan outside of his Highmark Stadium suite. He did this to allow Travis's girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, a chance to catch a glimpse of the young fan's sign.

Per The Independent, Jason told the young girl: "We’re going to show this to Taylor real quick".

The young Bills supporter also waved to those inside the suite, where Jason's wife, Kylie Kelce, was in attendance.

After the adorable interaction, Jason turned around and posed for a photo for the girl's parents.

Over on social media, Jason's actions as the perfect "Girl Dad" were praised, with one person writing on TikTok: "Jason Kelce is a dad first. Football player second. Made that little lady’s day."

A second added: "Jason Kelce is an absolute angel."

Jason, a former Super Bowl champion, enjoyed the game with his loved ones after the Philadelphia Eagles' disappointing playoff exit the previous week. The Eagles, who had a promising start to the season at 10-1, faltered down the stretch and suffered a 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round. Many believed that this game could have been Jason's final NFL appearance.

Addressing retirement rumors, Jason Kelce discussed the topic on his New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Travis. He emphasized that when the time comes to make an official announcement about his future, it will be done in a definitive manner, showing respect to those who have played a significant role in his career.

"When it’s time to officially announce what’s happening in the future, it’ll be done in a way that’s definitive and pays respect to a lot of people and individuals that have meant a lot to me and what has led to the career I’ve had, and I don’t think it would be respectful or even accurate to be able to do that right after a game like that," Jason said, per the New York Post.

While Jason basked in the camaraderie of Bills Mafia during a tailgate earlier in the day, Taylor Swift, on the other hand, didn't receive the warmest welcome upon her arrival at Highmark Stadium.

The 34-year-old singer was met with boos from disgruntled football fans. Despite the chilly reception, Swift, accompanied by model Cara Delevingne and Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, appeared to be in good spirits as they entered the stadium.

The reaction towards Swift wasn't limited to the stadium itself, as football fans across the country expressed their discontent when the NFL broadcast showed the Grammy-winning star on screen.
